Galaletsang Phalatse was involved in The Global Fund’s seventh replenishment campaign pitch in January and February with the NGO Impact Drivers.
As a result, Galaletsang was selected as one of two young girls to represent South Africa in the campaign, which runs from March until October. She will be involved in various advocacy activities throughout the year, including visiting Washington DC, USA, in September.
The first activity that she was involved in was the International Women’s Day event happening in Sandton on March 8. Galaetsang attended as speaker, alongside SA celebrities and HIV activists, speaking on issues facing young girls today.
