Biker seriously injured in North Riding crash

Three patients were treated on scene and transported to the nearest hospital by Emer-G-Med for further care.

Earlier this morning, just after 10:00, Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a collision involving a light motor vehicle and a motorcycle on Northumberland Avenue, North Riding.

Reports from the scene were that a male motorcyclist was found to have sustained serious injuries and was treated and stabilized on the scene by Emergency Care Practitioners before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.

“A mother and teenage daughter from the light motor vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were also treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care,” said Emer-G-Med national spokesperson, Kyle van Reenen.
