Buns Out Linden closes its doors due to load-shedding
Buns Out devotees will still be able to get their fix at their Prison Break Market stall operating from Wednesdays to Sundays.
Buns Out Burgers took to social media on September 27 to announce the closure of their Linden branch scheduled for October 9.

Tom Savage, founder and director of Savage Holdings which owns and currently operates the Buns Out brand said the establishment suffered a lot through the lockdown and now that they are trying to get back on their feet, they have another issue, load-shedding.
“Load-shedding is a huge problem for us, in a nine-hour day(during stage 6) we only operate for three hours. This obviously has a negative effect on the business. We have tried all we could, but even then, our customers have to wait longer than usual for their food. It seems every day is a constant fight.”
“We, unfortunately, do not have enough funds to get a generator. We have suffered a huge loss but we will go back to the drawing board and hopefully come back stronger,” said Savage.
We are still fighting 💪 have a store out at the Prison Break Market and we will be back when we can open a store with a generator 🥳

Buns Out Linden opened its doors three years ago and quickly opened two more franchises in Rosebank and Norwood.
Despite the recent blow patrons can still enjoy their favourite meals at the Prison Break Market in Glenferness, between Lonehill & Kyalami where Buns Out has a stall.
We are open at PBM Wednesday to Sunday from 11am until late 🙏 in Linden we have 2 weeks of operating left 💪🥳

Savage urged customers to make their way to the restaurant on the day of the closure for a ‘GoodBye Bash’.
“We are still finalising the finer details but I am pretty sure there will be amazing specials on the day.”
