International polar guide to speak about travelling around the world

An international polar guide will be the guest speaker at the next University of the Third Age (U3A) meeting.
The social group for those of retirement age will have the event at Randburg Gereformeerde Kerk on Third Road, Northwold, on April 4.
Dr Claudia Holgate is an international guide on expedition ships, though ‘other life’ is a critical care paramedic.
She also teaches advanced cardiac, paediatric and trauma life support courses when she is home.
Her talk is entitled Around the World in 80 days – Covid version.
The group hosts monthly meetings and special group interest activities, such as walking, art, line dancing, photography, and others.
