Learners from Cooper College spent a day volunteering at the Sandton SPCA, serving where they could and playing with the animals in need of adoption.
The community committee from the school in Northriding often does initiatives like this explained school marketer Dineo Mashao.

“It is about helping our community and volunteering where we can,” she said, adding that learner Aaliyah Harripersad led the latest initiative.

“The Sandton SPCA agreed for us to spend some time helping them where they needed. We helped with washing the dog bowls, cleaning up and giving some love to the dogs and cats.”
