Linden CPF and SAPS invite residents to a colour fun run
The colour fun run will be a fun day and a perfect family outing as there will be gadget tutus, food stalls, and music.
Linden CPF and SAPS invite the community to attend the colour fun run fundraising event that will focus on youth – who are sadly, often victims of crime – on May 6 at Hoërskool Randburg.
CPF member Annelise Tichauer said the community will make a difference by attending the fundraiser.
“The focus for 2023 is our youth as victims of crime, especially phone snatchings and cyberbullying. We and Linden SAPS would like to create opportunities for the younger members of our community to engage in an informal and fun way.”
She said they believe establishing a healthy trust relationship is critical in enabling the youth to speak up and come forward when something is happening to them, or around them, that is wrong or harmful.

“Together we can make our community safer and more connected.”
Tichauer encouraged residents to attend and follow Linden CPF on social media and share posts with their friends.
“The CPF as a whole can only make a difference if we have funding. Our patrollers will need uniforms, our versus team needs a new phone and the list goes on. We all stepped up to make a difference.”
The colour fun run will kick off at 9:00 for U13s; 9:30 for 13-year-olds; 10:00 for pre-schoolers and end with a big chase race at 10:30 to get police officers and security dirty.
