Young couple always supports local businesses
Couple asks the community to support local business ventures.
Chesney Sneyd and Nick Smith write:
We feel it is so important that local small businesses are supported.
We didn’t even know about The Local Market. We were driving past and saw all the cars and decided to stop and see what is going on. We could do our shopping at the grocery stores, franchises and big restaurants, but it means more to us to help local entrepreneurs and business owners.
Too many people go to chain stores, but here at markets – jobs are created, and families are supported as well. There is hand-crafted stuff here you will not be able to find anywhere else. People are creative and get to design their own things, manage their own costs and sales, and hire other people to help.
You really contribute to something when you support local. This is something we have a passion for.
