Have your pets vaccinated and de-wormed

A whopping 111 animals were vaccinated at the last event while 34 were dewormed, 24 microchipped and 25 had their nails clipped.

There is less than a month to go until Randpark Ridge’s next community microchip and vaccination day.

Hymany Park will once again see residents from across the city bring their dogs and cats to the Pet Connect event on August 26. As professionals see to their grooming, de-worming, microchipping and vaccinations, many of the pets (and their owners) make friends.

Between all this, residents browse the aromatherapy products and pet accessories on sale or take their furry friends for a walk through the park.

The previous microchip and vaccination day, on May 27, saw 111 animals vaccinated, 34 dewormed, 24 microchipped and 25 had their nails clipped.

“I’ve been working in rescue and with dogs and pets now for nine years,” said Pet Connect founder Vanessa Fitzpatrick. “Dogs and cats are wonderful animals and I know many pet owners share my passion. We want them to be healthy and happy always.”

The following event will take place in the same park in late November.
