Jeanette Burns: I love the cosmos so much, am always looking forward to cosmos' season to me it means Easter time and new photos.

What does cosmos’ season mean to you?

Gabi Mark: Every year we come here for pictures and we make sure people don’t pick them till they have seeds, otherwise next season they don’t come back

Lukas Otto: When I see the cosmos flower, I think of the Boer War because that is how they came to South Africa. But to me, they represent autumn, because they always flower in autumn.

Elsa Mark: To me, the cosmos season means Easter in Johannesburg. That is the time I like to be in Joburg.
