The community driven Honeydew Eco Village Centre offers an all-in-one shopping experience and caters for every resident’s needs in one place.
The centre is community based. It has its own green house, solar power, and dam to sustain the place. From being an abandoned property seven years ago, the centre has improved drastically, and strives to put their customers first.

With a spacious parking area, shoppers can enjoy all the centre has to offer without having to travel a long distance. From a fruit market, a nursery, a car wash, a flower shop, and a café with a play area for the kids, to a gym, a wellness centre, and a dance studio, residents can shop, relax, and enjoy the fresh scents of a garden all in one place.
The centre is covered by beautiful green trees, which invites nature in. It’s also eco-friendly, with a solar system to keep things running during loadshedding.

Joseph Alves Camara explained that their aim is to be aware of the environment, and the community around them. “We communicate with our neighbours all the time. We try to be conscious of what is happening around us, and we give back every way we can. We want the centre to be local, and be empowering to people around us.”
The businesses bring a personal feel to their customers, making the place feel different from other centres. With knowledge of their customers, they make conversation, making sure to offer assistance, from the car guards in the parking lot, to the cashiers inside the shops.
Camara added because they consider each customer to be important, they will always be available to be of service them. “We make our customers a priority, no matter how busy things gets.”
