Brussel sprouts even your kids will love
Most kids refuse to eat Brussel sprouts, but with this recipe they'll be begging for more.

Make Brussel sprouts fun for the kids this festive season and add garlic and bacon for them to enjoy.
Here is a great recipe for bacon and garlic fried Brussel sprouts that are not only easy to make but are sure to be a favourite with the whole family. HTA School of Culinary Art seems to think so too, which is why they gave us the recipe to share with you.

Ingredients:
- 500g Brussel sprouts (cut in half lengthwise)
- One onion
- Two cloves of garlic
- 150g bacon
- One lemon
Method:
- Fry diced bacon in a pan until crisp then remove and set aside. In the same pan, fry onion and garlic until soft.
- Add Brussel sprouts and cook without stirring until the underside is golden brown. Turn the sprouts and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Return the bacon to the pan and mix well, adjust seasoning, then serve.
