Ward 104 councillor wishes residents happy festive season
Emi Koekemoer, Democratic Alliance Ward 104 councillor, looked back at some of the year's challenges, and wishes the residents happy holidays.
Emi Koekemoer, Democratic Alliance Ward 104 councillor, said that her biggest highlight of 2024 is, without a doubt, the end of loadshedding.
She named John Endres as the local hero for the year. A person who has stepped up for their community and helped her in some of the work she has done.
“As the Bryanfern Residents Association representative, as well as his invaluable knowledge and insights on South African politics as a whole, he has continued to make a positive impact in our ward and in Johannesburg.”

She added that her Christmas wish for the ward this year would be if every resident could take one day and report the issues in a 100m radius of their home to the relevant entities, it would make a massive impact.
“I hope the residents of Ward 104 a happy festive season with minimal service interruptions and a safe return from their travels.”
