Organised by LuxePro Events, the gathering was more than just a wellness event; it was a celebration of fitness, flavour, and friendship.

The afternoon kicked off with a lively Dance Fit session, led by Gugu Keswa, founder of Ballex Dance Entertainment, alongside Fitness Icon, with co-ordination by Gomotsegang Modillane. The group dance workout set an upbeat and cheerful tone for the rest of the day.

After breaking a sweat, guests were treated to colourful and tasty mocktails at the Dished and Poured mocktail bar. Live tutorials showed attendees how to mix their own drinks at home, adding a creative and interactive touch to the event.

The Fairway Hotel added a special touch with a stylish food spread, serving sliders, tacos, wings, and house-made crisps, all designed to go perfectly with the refreshing drinks and wellness theme.

Throughout the afternoon, the hotel’s beautiful setting provided the perfect backdrop for mingling, networking, and celebrating shared values of health and community.

“This event was a dream come true,” said Valerie Tuge Mabena, founder of LuxePro Events. “Seeing everyone come together to celebrate wellness and connection in such a beautiful space, it’s exactly what we envisioned for the Mocktail Movement.”

Some of the well-known faces spotted at the event included: Keswa, Sarah Banda, Editor-in-Chief of Chic Tribe Digital, and Sibongile Vilakazi, founder of VLK Clothing. Guests, such as Portia Dieta, were also seen enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

According to Mabena, plans are already underway for future editions of the Mocktail Movement, promising even bigger and more exciting experiences for those who value a lifestyle rooted in wellness and joy.
