PG Glass crowns its 2025 Best of PG champion

Piet Hartenbosch wins the PG Glass 2025 Best of PG competition and will now showcase his skills in Europe.

PG Glass hosted its highly anticipated 2025 Best of PG competition at the Dome in North Riding, bringing together the top four technicians to compete for the national title.

Selected through rigorous regional assessments across South Africa, the finalists demonstrated outstanding technical precision, safety discipline and high-quality workmanship, representing the highest standards of PG Glass.

Steven Lurie, commercial director, explained that this year’s competition highlighted the extraordinary skill and professionalism of PG Glass technicians. “Each finalist has undergone intensive training aligned with international standards, is fully accredited to perform Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) recalibrations, and consistently delivers high-quality work backed by strong safety and compliance principles.”

One of the standout features in the 2025 competition was PG Glass’s exclusive 1-Tek windscreen installation system – a breakthrough technology available only at the company. The system delivers exceptional precision, ensuring that every windscreen is positioned with exact alignment, particularly critical for today’s ADAS-equipped vehicles.

The overall champion – Piet Hartenbosch from PG Glass Bloemfontein was the winner of Best Chip Repair, Best Body Glass, and Overall Best of PG Glass 2025. He will represent PG Glass South Africa at the Best of Belron 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal.
