Saints Sport Festival promises four days of action

LYME PARK – The St Stithians College Sports Festival 2018 begins in less than one week and the school is already excited about it.

The St Stithians College Sports Festival 2018 begins in less than one week.

The annual festival takes place over the Easter weekend on 28, 29 31 March, and 2 April.

More than 1 500 young athletes will participate in 259 fixtures in cross country, football, hockey, netball, squash, tennis, and rugby.

School management is also excited about their convenient app that allows you to access the latest fixture information, player profiles, results, live streaming, and more. You can even select fixtures you would like to attend and create a personalised calendar for yourself.

The app is available for download on your device’s app store, however, due to app licensing changes with Apple, St Stithians have had to change things a bit.

To access the app, you will have to download the CrowdCompass AttendeeHub app first, and only then can you search for the Saints Sports Festival app.

Once again, the festival will be a cashless event with the help of the festival’s title sponsor Standard Bank. You can pay in one of two ways: SnapScan and contactless Tap and Go card.

There will be a children’s play area for children 12 years old and younger.

The area is sponsored by Spur and managed by the St Stithians Boys’ Preparatory Marimba parents. There will be childminders, jumping castles, face painting, a small football field, a pirate ship and much more to keep your children entertained. It will cost R100 per day, per child.

St Stithians College would like to thank its generous sponsors and its community for their support.

After the Easter weekend, the prep festival will take place from 5 April to 7 April.
