The Dallas Buyers Club – Opens 28 February
Ron Woodroof (Matthew McConaughey) is an electrician and rodeo cowboy with a wild lifestyle. He is then diagnosed with HIV and given 30 days to live. He crosses the border into Mexico and begins smuggling alternative medications into the US. He finds an ally in Rayon (Jared Leto), a transsexual who shares Woodroof’s lust for life and entrepreneurial spirit. They establish a ‘buyers club’, where people suffering from HIVpay monthly dues for access to the newly-acquired supplies.
