The Storm in Africa Foundation has been created in conjunction with, StormFest SA and Candy Apple Communications.
The project is led by Robby Harrison, Storm Harrison, Eugene Dippenaar, Samm Marshall, Soraya Karlie and Grant Potgieter.
The aim of the foundation is to assist families and communities that have been torn apart by crime, specifically crime perpetrated against children.
They assist local schools by hosting events.
Part of the benefits includes donating money for much-needed repairs.
StormFestSA newest, biggest and best event will be held at Bryanston High School on 27 September, with artists such as LCNVL (Locnville), Euphonik, Vin Deysel, Mean Mr Mustard as well as Storm in Africa, Brand Ambassador for the Storm in Africa Foundation.
Everton Williams from the foundation says, “This being the first year of Storm in Africa Foundation inspired by the three children that we lost due to ‘gangsterism’ and brutality – one of the boys who got shot in the head in Westbury – we have to come together and stand up against crime.”‘
