National Minister to handover netball courts at Mohlakeng school

Minister Nathi Mthethwa is to hand over netball courts at Matlapaneng Primary School in Mohlakeng as part of the 2023 Netball World Cup Legacy programme.

The Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture Nathi Mthethwa will hand over netball courts at Matlapaneng Primary School in Mohlakeng on Friday afternoon, March 3.

According to a statement issued by the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts Culture, and Recreation, the project is part of the 2023 Netball World Cup Legacy programme.

Minister Mthethwa will be joined by among others Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture, and Recreation Morakane Mosupyoe along with Rand West Executive Mayor, Councilor Gladys Khoza, and Netball SA President, Cecilia Molokwane.

The Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture is mandated to develop all sporting codes in the country through the construction of playing fields and sporting attire,” the department said in a statement.
