Kagiso uses his talent to inspire
Local artist, Kagiso Segone – better known as Vibration Taylor, uses his talent to inspire the youth to follow their dreams.
For Kagiso Segone, music was always a part of life, but soon after discovering his talent as a performer, he started using this great talent to inspire the youth to follow their dreams.
According to Kagiso his love for performing started when he went to high school.
“I went to Randfontein High School and soon discovered my talent as a singer. I have been performing ever since,” says Kagiso.
He adds that his stage name is ‘Vibration Taylor’ as it is his mission to instill a positive attitude in the youth through his misic.
“I mainly do hip-hop and reggae music and strive to use my talent to inspire our youth to follow their dreams and avoid drug and alcohol abuse,” says Kagiso.
He adds that his biggest influence as an artist is 2pac Shakur.
“I write all my own music and lyrics and one of my most recent songs, Khutsong’s, music video is available on Youtube.
“My songs are all based on life experiences and ambitions that I have for myself, my friends and South Africa,” says Kagiso.
He adds that he performs all over the West Rand and is also available for bookings and charity functions.
“One of my highlight performances was on Lesedi FM during a live recording,” says Kagiso.
Besides his love for music, Kagiso also has a passion for film and is currently an assistant director on ‘One Day’, a short film that is based on the troubles we as people face on a daily basis.
