Baby competition winners announced

The Randfontein Herald Baby Competition has taken the town by storm with approximately 7 500 eligible votes entered.

Randfontein residents took our website at www.randfonteinherald.co.za in their hundreds to vote for their favourite entrants and it was a close run race.

Fantastic prizes were up for grabs in the baby competition with generous sponsorships from Keller Williams Realty Advance, San Pedro Spur in Randfontein, Uncle Harry’s Roadhouse, and Robert Rothman Photography.

The first prize winner received a fantastic baby hamper worth R600 from Keller Williams Realty Advance as well as a R1 500 family photoshoot from Robert Rothman Photography.

The winner also received a San Pedro Spur meal voucher to the value of R300, and an Uncle Harry’s meal voucher worth R300.

The second place winner received a family photoshoot from Robert Rothman Photography to the value of R900 as well as a Spur meal voucher worth R250 and an Uncle Harry’s meal voucher to the value of R250.

The third place winner received a family photoshoot worth R500, a Spur meal voucher worth R200 and an Uncle Harry’s meal voucher worth R200.

Each of the top three also received a certificate.

In first place, with more than 1 000 votes, was one-year-old Kylie Botha, while second place is occupied by 14-month-old Rachel Pautsch, with a score of nearly 900 votes.

Third place goes to five-month-old Wayron Malan with over 750 votes.

The top three received their prizes at the Randfontein Herald offices on 11 December.

Prizes were handed over by local beauty queen and representative for our sponsors, Ashleigh Cowan.

“The Randfontein Herald Baby Competition was an amazing opportunity for us to establish our company in the area,” says Robert Rothman from Keller Williams Realty Advance.

“The response was overwhelming and we are proud to have been part of this initiative.”
