Randfontein police release identity kit of suspected rapist.

Police have compiled an identity kit – with the help of the rape victim – of a man who allegedly raped her.

According to Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police, “A 26-year-old woman was raped in an open veldt around a local dumping site on the evening of Friday 15 August.

“The suspect is approximately 28 years old, fair in complexion and approximately 1,70 metres in height. The man also was described as skinny.

“The man was wearing a check top with dark pants and boots at the time of the incident. He also was armed with a knife and scissors and spoke English to the victim.”

The Randfontein Police urge residents to report any information that might lead to the suspect’s arrest. Contact investigating officer, Sgt Patricia Leballo on 011 951 1111.
