Man killed in Westonaria collision

A man was killed on a mine road after his vehicle rolled several times near Glenharvie in Westonaria over the weekend.

According to ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak, “Paramedics from ER24 that arrived on the scene found his Opel Kadette lying on its roof. On further assessment they found the man lying several meters away from the vehicle.

“It appears as if he was ejected when his vehicle overturned several times.

“Sadly there was nothing that paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead on the scene.

“The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.”
