Woman critically injured in car crash

'She lost control of the vehicle'.

A woman sustained critical injuries when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving on the R500 just outside Fochville early on Wednesday.

According to Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson, “Paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the woman lying on the road near the car that had rolled.

“Paramedics were informed that the woman’s son helped her out of the vehicle. Paramedics assessed the woman. She had sustained multiple injuries. She was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care. Her son was assessed. He had sustained minor injuries.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
