Armed robbers hit clothing store
Foursome of suspects on the loose after armed robbery.
Randfontein Police are looking for four suspects they say were involved in an armed robbery at a clothing store in Main Reef Road on Monday.
The incident took place just after 10am.
“It is alleged by a 23-year-old employee that she was assisting a customer when a man entered the shop, pushing the customer aside and showing her a firearm that was hidden under his shirt.
Other male suspects then also entered the shop and went to the office where they demanded safe keys,”said Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson.
The suspects then placed cellphones in a bag and demanded money from the cash registers. The suspects, four unknown men then took the merchandise and money and fled the scene in a white Toyota Avanza.
