Rand View College’s top achievers announced

It takes determination, concentration and discipline to achieve what these pupils achieved.

After opening with the National Anthem on Monday 25 July, pupils from Rand View College (RVC) excitedly fidgeted in their seats, biting their lips and keeping their fingers crossed.

It was that time of year again, when well-deserved recognition is given to the pupils who excelled during the second term, including the mid-term exams. Special awards were given to pupils who achieved 75% and more in at least one subject. These pupils received a pat on the back for their outstanding work and effort.

Miss Wendy Mangali, RVC’s vice principal, assisted principal Mr Paul Mwondha in handing out the awards to the notable achievers.

“We are proud of our top achievers, but we encourage you all to work harder,” Mwondha said.

For the past three years, RVC has achieved a 100 per cent matric pass rate. They are looking forward to the end of 2016 as they plan to achieve this yet again. They would like to thank Ouppa Koateng, West Rand District Director, and his assistant Thea Coetser, for their support of the event. They also thank RVC directors Mr Ramadhan Mijumbi and Mr Thumeka Gasa for making everything possible.
