100 000 said to join Angus in prayer in Soweto
Evangelist Angus Buchan calls on all South Africans to attend major upcoming event in Soweto.
A hundred thousand people are expected on Saturday, 19 November in the FNB stadium in Soweto for the biggest spiritual reconciliation gathering ever in Gauteng.
“The entire South African nation must be rescued from a destructive spirit of violence, corruption, hate, an unforgiving attitude, anger and negativity,” said well-known evangelist Angus Buchan.
He added, “This can only be done if we show remorse and ask God in unity for forgiveness.”
Angus, who will be the main speaker at the ‘Sacred Assembly’ event in Soweto, says South Africans are privileged to live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
“South Africa has warm and loving people, but it is time for us to gather before God and to ask Him to break the spirit of destruction. We are on a knife-edge and only God can save us. We therefore have to draw a line in the sand now and tell the Devil: Thus far and no further.”
Angus called on all South Africans to attend the event: young, old, black, white, coloured, Indian, men, women and children. It is meant for every individual – mineworkers, students, preachers, farmers, sportsmen and women, housewives, the aged, teachers, politicians, business people and the unemployed, “because we have to ask God as a nation to intervene and take over in the dire situation we are in.”
Angus said further that the gathering will acknowledge our remorse because we allowed a compromise of God’s standards.
The event is free, but tickets will be distributed by Computicket from Friday, 21 October on a first-come-first-served basis.
