JUST IN: Young wife’s body found in shallow grave

Husband arrested after wife's body found in shallow grave in Ten Acres.

A young woman’s body, aged 23, was found in a shallow grave in Ten Acres, Randfontein on Saturday, 26 January.

According to Constable Gloria Maswanganye, the West Rand Police cluster spokesperson, the national Crime Intelligence Unit arrested a 42-year-old man for her murder. He is also her husband and a witch doctor.

“The suspect shot and killed his 23-year-old wife and buried her in a shallow grave. He pointed out where he buried the body of his wife.

“The body was exhumed and removed by the Roodepoort mortuary. An unlicensed firearm was also recovered. He is to appear in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court soon.”
