This week’s Covid-19 battle plan in Rand West City – where to get vaccinated

The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening until February 12. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.

The West Rand District Health Department is once again inviting the community to get free Covid-19 testing and vaccinations done at their sites this week.

The department’s Communication Admin, Zoliswa Nzeku said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Tuesday, February 8 to Saturday, February 12. The sites are operational from 09:00 until 15:00.

Testing will be done at the following sites:

• Umphakathi Mall (Ward 13)

• Randfontein Station Mall (Ward 4 & 5)

• Mohlakeng Hostel (Ward 16)

• Bekkerdal Hostel (Ward 35)

• Bekkerdal Ghana Park (Ward 32

• Thursday, February 10 at Randfontein Station Mall, Tambotie Mall, Mohlakeng Shoprite, Bekkersdal Skierlik, Rand West City Local Municipality and Lukhanyo Secondary

• Friday, February 11 at Randfontein Station Mall, Tambotie Mall, Bekkerdal Xhosa Section, Busmark and Mohlakano Primary

• Saturday, February 12 at Randfontein Station Mall, Tambotie Mall, Umphakathi Mall and Borwa Taxi Rank
