Three-day youth revival series in Toekies

Youth groups from various church denominations came together for spiritual upliftment during a youth revival series.

A three-day youth revival series recently kicked off at Uniting Reformed Church Toekomsrus where youth groups from various church denominations came together for spiritual upliftment.

Event coordinator Cindy Haywood-Christian said the groups received teachings from spiritual literature and showcased their talents by dancing and reciting poetry to create spiritual awareness amongst their peers.

It was great to keep hundreds of youth away from the streets and other social ills, and have them under one roof uplifting and motivating each other for one purpose,” said Cindy.

She added that this youth revival series would be an annual event.
