Burglars help themselves to humidifier, TVs and more in Helikon Park
The report indicates that only two incidents were attended to.
Mapogo A Mathamaga, a local security company, has released its most recent crime statistics, which show just two significant events from November 29 to December 4.
The company’s operations manager, Danie Vermeulen, said the first incident that occurred was that of housebreaking and theft along Fisant Street in Helikon Park on November 29.
“Perpetrators gained entrance to the property by opening the main gate and front door. They then proceeded to steal two TVs, a laptop, a computer, and a monitor, as well as a humidifier,” said Vermeulen.
In addition, he added they responded to an attempted break-in at Botha plots on December 4.
“Perpetrators gained entrance to the property and attempted to force open a security gate. However, they fled from the scene when the alarm went off.”
