Two men wanted for questioning in rape case

Two men are wanted by police in Bekkersdal in connection with a rape case.
According to Captain Solomon Sibiya, “In December 2023, the victim was walking from the taxi rank in an open field towards her place of residence when three unknown men with firearms approached her. They ordered the victim at gunpoint to a grave site where two of them took turns to rape her.”
Sibiya continued that the victim was afterwards let go and ordered to run away.
“Bekkersdal police believe that one of the suspects is Sesotho speaking and can assist with information,” Sibiya said.
He then described the same man as tall and slender with a calm demeanour. He has a full gold tooth on his upper set. He was also seen wearing a black leather jacket and brown boots.
