Robbery attempt in Aureus foiled

A burglary at an Aureus business was disrupted early this morning, preventing losses and limiting damage.

A burglary attempt at a business in Aureus was disrupted in the early hours of this morning, November 20.

According to EPR general manager Johan Krogh, intruders gained access to the premises by entering through the roof. Security response units were dispatched after controllers picked up movement inside the building.

Krogh said the suspects managed to flee before response officers arrived, allegedly after being alerted by spotters.

He added that with no visible signs of forced entry from the outside, the incident may have gone unnoticed without visual confirmation.

“With the help of our visual verification system, we ensured there were no losses and minimal damage,” he said.

Police have been notified.
