Bakkie stolen from private residence in Smuts Street

The Community Policing Forum is on the lookout for a white Izuzu XRider, registration HB 69 VB GP, after it was stolen this morning.

A white Izuzu XRider double-cab bakkie was reportedly stolen this morning, January 21, from a private residence in Smuts Street.

Chairperson Ruan Sheppard confirmed the report and requested that residents be on the lookout for the 2018 model bakkie with registration HB 69 VB GP.

According to reports received by the CPF, the gate to the property was unlocked as work was being done in the house. It is believed that the thief simply walked in and stole the bakkie.

Any person with information is urged to come forward.
