The IEC has confirmed the dates for special voting. Make sure you know when and how the voting schedule applies to you.

According to the IEC, special voting for the 2026 local government elections will take place on November 2 and 3 from 08:00 until 17:00, ahead of election day on November 4, when voting will take place from 07:00 until 21:00.
The IEC added that election day has been declared a public holiday, with special voting days remaining ordinary working days.
