Municipality warns of water supply limitations

Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has issued a statement revealing that levels of reservoirs are currently low due to a high demand for water supply.

According to RWCLM, Rand Water has since limited the water supply to give the reservoirs time to replenish.

Areas such as Toekomsrus, Mohlakeng, Westonaria, Bekkersdal, Simunye, Venterspost, Zuurbekom and Borwa will experience the limitations. Furthermore, water tankers will be utilised to ensure that water is provided to the affected areas.

“We regret any inconvenience that may have been caused and apologise for it,” the statement concluded.
