Say your say at IDP ward meetings scheduled for April, May

The office of the municipal manager has released dates pertaining to Rand West City Local Municipality’s Integrated Development Plan (IDP) ward meetings in the next two months.

Municipal manager Thabo Ndlovu invites residents to participate in the Draft IDP and Budget Review Road Show for the 2025/26 financial year. This road show commences today (April 1) and will conclude on May 14.

The meetings for each ward will be held as follows:

• April 1 – Ward 3 (councillor Alwyn van Tonder) at the Dan Tloome Mega Project
• April 2 – Wards 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9 (councillors Sina Erasmus and Craig Harrison) at the Greenhills Stadium
• April 3 and 4 – OR Tambo and Afri Village (councillor Mattheus Botha)
• April 5 – Ward 12 (councillor Daniel Machaba) at the Zenzele Sports Grounds
• April 6 – Ward 1 (councillor Tebogo Mabongo) at the Brandvlei Sports Complex
• April 8 – Ward 8 (councillor Balderic Dreyer) at Azaadville Gardens
• April 9 – Ward 5 (councillor Selina Moumakwe) at Randfontein CBD (IEC Hall)
• April 10 – Ward 2 (councillor Alfred Thenjekwayo) at Finsbury Swimming Pool
• April 11 – Wards 14 and 19 (councillors Khuziwe Tsotetsi and Ben Legote) at Lukhanyo High School
• April 12 – Wards 31 and 35 (councillors Phillip Mofokeng and Tinah Nomlinda Nobunga) at the library grounds
