Eugene Francis explained that for the past three months, the water meters in front of their complex have been leaking. He noted he has been reporting the issue since March, however, it has still not been repaired.
He added that the wall next to where the leak is, is starting to rot due to the constant water. The water is also leaking through to the other side of the wall.
He mentioned residents are being urged to use water sparingly, yet the clean water is constantly running in front of their complex.
The Rand West City Local Municipality was approached for comment, however, none was received by the time of publishing. Their feedback will be published once received.
