CPF clean up mess in streets after protest action
The rubble was left behind during a protest action against illegal miners in the area.
Members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) in Finsbury rolled up their sleeves and cleaned up the rubble left behind during the recent protest action against illegal miners in the area.

They were working along Main Road in Hillside and Finsbury on August 8 to ensure that motorists travelling in and out of the community were not left frustrated.
Jaco du Preez from Sector 5 CPF said, “My colleagues and I were driving around in the area and saw how motorists were struggling to move around the debris.
We then decided to take some time off to clean up the streets.
“We also wanted to clear the roads to ensure that there are no accidents and that emergency services can use the road without any hassles,” said Du Preez.
