Search still on for Saskia the missing Dachshund
Saskia has been missing for 20 days and her owner has done everything she can to help find the puppy. Now she asks for help from the community.
Natalie Coetzee has gone on relentless missions to help find her missing dog Saskia. She has now asked the community for help.
Saskia went missing on October 22 at the local raceway. She used the services of Healthy Hound Missing Search and Rescue Team and Natalie has made hundreds of posters.
She is currently a member of 13 Facebook groups and three WhatsApp groups where they constantly share Saskia’s information in hopes of finding her. She even drives on all the streets and walks in open fields daily to try and locate her dog.

“The good people on Facebook advised me to get a drone to see if I could locate Saskia, especially there where the K9 unit picked up her scent. Monica Pretorius was generous enough to lend me her drone, unfortunately, there were laws about flying drones in public that we were unaware of,” Natalie said.
Clarisse Kruger and Stephan Hendricks from No More Tears Animal Rescue are also actively participating in the search.
Even though Natalie has attempted all she can during the search, her efforts were to no avail.
“That is why I want to ask the community for their help. Even if you post on social media, share posts or look for her in the streets. I would like to give the person who finds her a cash prize as well as a free photoshoot session. Saskia is a young puppy of six months and I would like to ask if we could all stand together to help bring her home,” she expressed.
