Helping the needy this Christmas

Wilma van Aswegan has started a Holiday Food Drive to feed the underprivileged during the festive season.

Wilma started the food drive to support the underprivileged who need food.

“Many people in our community face challenges due to the economic hardships, unemployment and the rising cost of living, which can make it difficult to afford nutritious meals. By launching this food drive we aim to bridge the gap for those in need over the Christmas period,” Wilma said.

Wilma added to make the food drive a success they would need help from the community. This includes donations such as non-perishable food items, powdered milk, cooking oil, etc, as well as spreading the word.
