Feeding the needy in the festive spirit
Underprivileged children lined up for a delicious meal in the spirit of the festive season thanks to a local soup kitchen.
Feed The Need Soup Kitchen has reached out to the community again.
Koekie Allie, founder of the soup kitchen, explained they held a Christmas lunch for the children in the community recently. They had some trouble with finding donors at first but ultimately they were able to give the children a warm meal and ice cream.
Koekie’s mission is to feed the children in the community and she helps them weekly with feedings.
