Mandela Day: Help make a paw-sitive difference at Cast Aways

Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary is inviting the community to join them on Mandela Day and spend their 67 minutes caring for animals.

“Let’s honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy by showing compassion to animals in need,” stated the founder of Cast Aways, Louisa Rossouw.

She explained they are always in need of volunteers to help with cleaning the kennels and brushing the cats, and they are asking the community to visit them from July 18 to July 20.

“All you need to do is come and spend 67 minutes of your time at our sanctuary. You can also donate R67 into our bank account, which will be allocated to the vet account for our recent intakes,” said Louisa.
