Westgold shows kindness to little warrior Dianty (4)

Learners from Westgold Primary School showed true compassion by supporting the cause to help a four-year-old child battling leukaemia.

Westgold Primary School demonstrated the value of kindness by hosting a fundraiser for four-year-old Dianty da Silva, who is battling leukaemia.

According to school spokesperson Mariska du Plessis, the school came together to start a fundraising event. She added, the moment learners heard of Dianty’s battle, they were eager to get involved.

Recently, the school hosted a Casual Clothes Day, encouraging learners to wear orange or white. All funds raised on this day will be going directly to Dianty’s needed treatment.

Mariska stated this initiative was driven by a desire to make a difference in the community.

“What made this event even more meaningful was seeing the excitement and compassion in our learners. They understood that helping others is a powerful way to bring light to the world. Their efforts reflected true empathy and heart,” Mariska expressed.
