Foundation seeks donations for two community outreaches

Blessed to Bless Rainbow Foundation is planning two community outreaches to help the less fortunate, but they need the support of residents to make it happen.

Blessed to Bless Rainbow Foundation is appealing to the community to assist them with donations for their upcoming outreaches.

Anastasia Venter, founder of the foundation, explained that they are in the planning phase of an outreach, set for December. They want to visit an orphanage or children’s home. They are collecting donations, which they would like to donate to the less fortunate and also plan a special day for the children.

“An outreach like this requires planning, hard work and finances,” said Anastasia.

They need clothes, toys, books, stationery and anything else that can assist with the project, aimed at children.

Further, they have been asked by the organisers of Never Give Up Cycling Academy in Mohlakeng to be part of an event taking place at the end of November. Anastasia noted that it is a big project and they have numerous things to plan in a short time.

She explained there will be between 100 and 150 cyclists from the community, aged between five and 20. They are planning to offer each cyclist something to eat and drink as a thank you for representing the community.

“The organisers unfortunately cannot afford it and we, as Blessed to Bless Rainbow Foundation, are asking the community to stand together and help,” she said.

They would appreciate any donations of water, cold drinks or juice, and they would also like to make hamburgers or hot dogs for the cyclists.

Any person who would like to contribute can contact Anastasia on 079 775 1717.
