RHS learner crowned Face of Gauteng Teenager 1st Princess 2025

At just 13 years old, Bonolo Motubatse is already making a positive impact in her community by feeding the needy and inspiring young people.

Thirteen-year-old Randfontein High School (RHS) learner Bonolo Motubatse stands out not only for her confidence but also for her kindness, as she actively helps feed the needy and supports her community.

Bonolo was recently crowned Face of Gauteng Teenager 1st Princess 2025, a title that celebrates not only her beauty but also her compassion for those in need.

According to her mother, Tebogo Kotu, Bonolo’s proudest achievement is staying true to herself.

“In addition to being proud of her originality, she was elected to her primary school’s Representative Council of Learners (RCL) and also won the title of Best Speaker at a district debating competition. The highlight of this year for her was being crowned on her first attempt in pageantry, while also being the youngest contestant,” Tebogo said.

Bonolo also enjoys spiritual dancing, singing, public speaking and debating.

Tebogo added that Bonolo is currently partnering with the Umphakathi Foundation to organise outreach programmes and give back to the community through the distribution of food parcels.

“She also looks forward to hosting pampering campaigns for women. Her love for the community is driven by her need to make a difference in every sphere she walks into, ensuring that she leaves people feeling better and more hopeful than how she found them,” Tebogo expressed.

Bonolo’s daily motivation is her vision for the future and her desire to inspire other young women. Her biggest role model is Zozibini Tunzi, the South African model crowned Miss Universe 2019.

Tebogo said her daughter aspires to become one of the most influential motivational speakers of her generation – empowering youth globally while establishing an impactful non-profit organisation. She hopes to one day support charities such as Ray of Hope NPO, Big Sister’s Helping Hand and Carryou Ministries.

“She really wants to show the youth that they can rise above their circumstances and become a reliable source of support for those in need.”

She often quotes Nelson Mandela: ‘A winner is a dreamer who never gives up’, since it resonates deeply with her.

“She believes she has achieved everything by not focusing on her failures, but by imagining victory and meditating on those thoughts through faith,” Tebogo concluded.
