As Mayor William Matsheke offered his New Year wishes, he highlighted a strong commitment to improving service delivery and building a better Rand West City.

Executive Mayor of Rand West City, William Matsheke, has extended his well-wishes and hopes for 2026.

“May this year bring you good health, renewed hope, and shared prosperity,” Matsheke told residents.

He encouraged the community to reflect on both the achievements and challenges of the past year.

“While we made meaningful progress in certain areas, we also recognise the challenges, which strengthened our resolve to do better,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2026, Matsheke reaffirmed his commitment to hard work, intensifying efforts, and improving service delivery to meet the needs and expectations of the community.

“Let us move forward with social cohesion, shared responsibility, and hope to build a better Rand West City,” he concluded.
