New address, same voice: Randfontein Herald moves to Witpoortjie

The Randfontein Herald is relocating, but will continue to serve the community.

Change is not always a bad thing. After careful consideration, the Randfontein Herald will move from its current offices in Homelake to the Caxton Joburg West office in Witpoortjie, Roodepoort, with effect from March 1.

Management said the move makes practical sense, as all Caxton Joburg West editorial and sales teams will now operate from a single location. The publication has reassured readers that the Randfontein Herald is not going anywhere.

Journalists will continue to serve as the community’s voice and attend local events, while the sales team remains committed to supporting local businesses and their marketing needs.

Think of it as a long-distance relationship – still strong, just based at a different address.

The Caxton Joburg West branch (011 955 1130) is situated on the corner of Generaal Pienaar Avenue and Ham Street, Witpoortjie, Roodepoort. Weekly Herald newspapers can still be collected next door at Henry’s Properties on 011 412 2833.

The Herald can be contacted on 011 693 3671. For news tips or enquiries, contact editor Clinton Botha at randfonteinherald@caxton.co.za, or consult the directory published weekly.

“Thank you for your continued support,” said Clinton.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
