The Modimo O Teng Foundation brought warmth and nourishment to residents of the OR Tambo Informal Settlement in Elandsvlei during a community soup kitchen drive on August 29.

The initiative was hosted at a space generously provided by Carry You Ministry and was supported by contributions from members of the community.

Founder Kopano Hosene thanked the foundation’s core team for their dedication and for helping prepare and serve meals throughout the day.

Hosene said the success of the outreach demonstrated the importance of community support and teamwork.

The foundation plans to expand its outreach efforts across Randfontein and is encouraging residents and local businesses to support its future projects.
