VIDEO: Fire and belly dancing to end the year

Phoenix Fusion Dance Studio held its year-end function by showing off its dancers’ skills in front of family and friends in a two-hour performance at Friendship Haven on Saturday evening, 9 November.

There were tons of great performances during the evening, ranging from hip hop, ballet and jazz, to belly dancing, sword fighting and even fire dancing.

The audience was in awe of the performances as well as all of the beautiful costumes that the dancers were wearing.

According to Marlien van Deventer, owner of the studio, the evening was successful.

“The students felt like stars. We are extremely proud of them.”
