Speedsters storm to victory in first race at Oval Raceway

Results of the first Dirt Oval event for the new year at Randfontein Oval Raceway.

Randfontein Oval Raceway held its first Dirt Oval event for the new year on Saturday, 11 January.

According to Marilize Coetzee, promoter of the Oval Raceway, it was a great start to the year.

The results are as follows: 

2100’s:

• First – Gideon van Zyl
• Second – Pierre Lubbe
• Third – Shaun Bezuidenhout

Stockrods:

• First – Jordan Larsson
• Second – Marthinus Viljoen
• Third – Shaun Bezuidenhout

1660’s:

• First – Hano Trichardt
• Second – Allen Cunningham
• Third – Jaques van Niekerk

Rookies:

• First – Deon Coetzee Jnr Jnr
• Second – Brandon Bouwer
• Third – Hendri Coetzee Jnr
